This is to inform all the students of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) that the institution’s management has announced the resumption date for the commencement of academic activities for the 2020/2021 academic session.

UNICAL Resumption Date
A release issued by the Registrar of the Institution, Mr Gabriel Egbe disclosed that Newly Admitted students will arrive on Campus on the 13th of September 2021 to commence registration on the 14th of September, 2021 while Orientation is to begin from 21st to 24th September, 2021.
The release further hinted that lectures for new students will commence from the 27th of September, 2021.
The Returning Students according to the release will resume on 4th October 2021 and registration for them will commence from the 5th-8th October 2021 with lectures commencing from October 11, 2021.
Details of other activities for the semester are as contained in the Academic Calendar approved by the Senate of the University.
The release charged the Provost, Deans, Directors and Heads of Departments to ensure full compliance with the schedule issued.
The Registrar on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor welcomes all students and wishes them a peaceful and productive 2020/2021 academic session.
